Flavor Profile: Italian Chicken All-Purpose Seasoning Recommended for: So this blend is actually not an homage to being a scaredy cat chicken shit....the origin of the name is actually much simpler. In our restaurant we had a chicken dish called "Chicken Italiano." Now you know....it is actually an Italian seasoning with one caveat. We LOVE oregano....when it is fresh. Dried oregano can be very "pencil sharpener shaving tasting." That's why we leave it out...but include all of the other traditional Italian seasonings. Seriously, smell a jar of dried oregano, and then a pencil sharpener....oddly similar! Designed for chicken, but everything else loves it too, including eggs, soups & fish.
